Design, fabrication and packaging of GlobalFlow’s process equipment takes place in our modern facility outside Medicine Hat, Alberta. The 28,000-square-foot building is surrounded by an ample equipment yard and is well-equipped. The welding and assembly bays are equipped with multiple cranes of various capacity, enabling us to lift up to 20 tonnes. On even larger jobs we jack-and-roll the vessel and/or module. The facility has sub-arc welders and numerous welding machines. There is sufficient overall space to enable simultaneous fabrication of several projects.
Welding equipment includes shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) or traditional “stick welding”, submerged arc welding (SAW), metal cored arc welding (MCAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW, also known as metal inert gas or MIG welding). The Medicine Hat facility is also where our rental packages are based.
